My name is Pasath Samaraweera, and for more than ten years I have had the pleasure of working with some remarkable companies and creative professionals, collaborating closely to produce animations and videos that bring stories to life. Over the years, I have honed my skills as a multimedia specialist and 2D animator, building both artistic expertise and technical precision.

My academic journey laid the foundation for my career in media and creativity. I began my education at Matara Rahula College, where my passion for the arts and storytelling took root. Later, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Special) in Mass Media (Television Studies) at the University of Colombo, which gave me a strong theoretical and practical understanding of communication, television, and media. To further refine my craft, I obtained a Diploma in Filmmaking (Directing) from the Sri Lankan National Film Corporation, equipping me with valuable skills in cinematic storytelling, directing, and visual design.

Alongside my academic qualifications, I have actively participated in creative competitions that shaped my career path. Notably, in 2007, I was honored to win Second Place at the Local Cartoon and Animation Competition, conducted by the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation. This recognition encouraged me to pursue animation more seriously and solidified my passion for visual storytelling.

Today, with over a decade of experience in the industry, I continue to explore new creative opportunities in animation and multimedia production. My professional journey reflects both dedication and curiosity, and I strive to keep learning, innovating, and collaborating to produce meaningful and engaging content.
